Akebi Flower Basket This basket is made by weaving together natural akebi vines harvested in Aomori Prefecture, resulting in a sturdy construction. I purchased this item during a visit to Hirosaki. As it uses natural materials, there are some areas with cracks, splits, and splinters, as well as warping, as seen in photos 4 and 5, which are characteristic of natural materials. Please understand this before purchasing.
