Terui Seisakusho started in the late Meiji era in Rokumachi, Morioka City (present-day Sakana-machi) as a tea and inn business. Along with the sale of tea, they began to handle tea utensils, and they also had an iron kettle factory next door. Later, the factory moved to Esashi Koji (present-day Minami-Odori), and in the 1950s, it moved along with other workshops in Morioka City with the opening of the handmade village, in which they participated in the management.
