This is an old Wajima-nuri lacquerware bowl. It features a unique, atmospheric Akebono-nuri (dawn-colored lacquer) with a graceful orchid maki-e (sprinkled picture). The underside also has a tasteful Chinese poem maki-e design. There is some slight discoloration, but no major issues. The size is 12.8 cm in diameter and 7.8 cm in height. In stock.
