Simply pass the lure eye through the protrusion inside the snap and rotate it along the coil to easily attach the lure without the need for tools. To remove, reverse the process: open the coil with your fingernail or similar, and slide the lure eye out from the end of the snap. *Lures with intricate eye shapes (like poppers) can be used by attaching a split ring. With regular snaps, there can be concerns about strength when targeting yellowtail. Also, with combination rings, tools are required for lure changes, which can be troublesome.
