Hyeon-gyun Shin, son of Jeong-hee Shin, Incense Container Potter. Born as the eldest son of Jeong-hee Shin, a potter who was the first in Korea to reproduce Goryeo tea bowls, he currently inherits and operates Jeong-hee Shin's kiln at Tongdosa Temple in Yangsan City. In 2002, he was the first in Korea to reproduce Hoeryeong ceramics. He received the Special Selection and Bronze Prize at the Korea Craft Exhibition, and from 2004, he supplied tea utensils and jars for the Korean President's state guest gifts on three occasions. His works have been introduced on many television programs and newspapers, including KBS's "Beauty of Korea," MBC's "Success Era (co-starring with Jeong-hee Shin)," and NHK's "Ohayo Nippon" in Japan, where he appeared in a live broadcast of his pottery-making process. #Kuma-jiro Pottery Tea Ceremony Utensils Collection ↑Click here to see other works!
