They make a beautiful sound when gently clinked together. Received from a relative. They believe it was Hoya Crystal, but there is no guarantee. For those who are okay with that. Used a few times for guests. When held up to the light, there are water spot marks on the underside of the base (photos 8 & 9) and very small scratches (photos 10 & 11). Personally, I don't mind them at all, but please be aware of this if you are looking for perfection. Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about home storage or amateur inspection.
