Thank you very much for reading my profile. This is an offering of a very old sword tsuba (handguard) and seppa (spacers). It appears to have gold-like detailing. The tsuba material is heavy, like cast iron, and I believe it was made using the iron-making methods of the time. The seppa is a copper-colored metal, possibly plated with an unknown grade of gold. I have not tested the purity. I have only been told that these items are remnants of a sword owned by my ancestors. Please purchase with the understanding that these are personal items and have not been through any appraisal. Please be aware of this before purchasing.
