Handmade Tomte. Tomte are said to be gnomes who live in Swedish farms and workplaces, protecting the people in the house and ensuring their happiness. I wanted to keep one close by, so I made this Tomte in calming colors. I hope you'll display it even outside of Christmas. *There is a slight stain on the part where the hat and body are glued together due to excess glue, so I have slightly reduced the price (last photo). It's on the back, so it's not very noticeable, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned. The fabric is a cotton-linen blend (a subdued navy color with a slight green tint), the beard is faux fur, and the nose is a wooden bead. It contains pellets to make it less likely to fall over (but it won't stand perfectly still). *Please be careful not to pull the beard too hard, as it may come off easily.
