The filter frame has little signs of use and looks clean. Although I can't capture it in a photo, when held up to the light, both filters show some kind of stain depending on the angle (the degree of staining varies slightly). It's not too bad, but I don't know if it will affect the actual image quality. I wiped it with a lens cloth, but it didn't come off. How about using it to protect or modify old lenses?
