I have tried putting them on it, so please understand that. When I first assembled it, the sisal rope on the scratching posts had a strong smell, but it seems to have subsided now. Maybe I've gotten used to it. I left it set up, hoping they would eventually use it, but there's no sign of them wanting to, so I'm selling it to someone who is looking for one. My child helped assemble it, so there may be minor scratches, and some parts of the cushions may be slightly misaligned. There are also some areas where the sisal rope sticks out, and some scratches on the wood. There are some black marks on the wood in places.
