This item was purchased new several years ago and has been well-loved. It's a single-layer, duffle-style wool poncho with a check-patterned lining. The length is just above the hips, and it's 95% wool, so it's warm. It has a duffle closure at the top, and buttons on the lining below. Black leather is used for the silhouette's trim, giving it a stylish look. The hood's fur is removable, so you can wear it for a long time. I also liked that it didn't take up much space and was easy to carry around. Please note that there is some pilling on the sleeves.
