The outer surface is coated with black UV protection, making it a durable rubber. Of course, the degree of deterioration will vary depending on storage conditions, so if used in the sea, it is recommended to rinse with fresh water to remove salt, air dry in the shade, and then store in the refrigerator. It can also be used for hand spears, but it is recommended for those with considerable strength. This power band is recommended for those who find the rubber on their hand spear too soft. For reference, I use it as a pull rubber on a 4.5-meter spear, cut to 120cm. If you are using it for a speargun or a single-pull hand spear, it is best to make your own using Dyneema and wishbones.
