This is the 2008 brewing year of "Myoka Rankyoku" (Kimoto Junmai Daiginjo Shizuku Genshu), the highest peak of Daishichi. With the goal of creating a truly great sake that transcends the existing framework of Japanese sake, we began development in 1999. However, the name "Myoka Rankyoku" is only allowed to be used in years that reach the highest level set by our company. It has both華やかさ (hanayaka-sa, "gorgeousness/splendor") and complexity, and is a top-class accompaniment to meals, becoming more powerful and reaching completion through longer aging. This is one of only 3375 bottles produced. It has been stored in a cellar, so I believe the condition is good.
