This is an 80s Levi's 501 denim red-ear model. It's the last model to use selvedge denim after the 66 late model, and while it was often treated as a regular item in the past, it has recently gained popularity as a respectable vintage piece. Stamped 524 (old 6 El Paso factory), 10% shrinkage, outseam selvedge. The vintage feel of the red ear (selvedge) and care instructions patch is excellent.
