This is a new, genuine silk Kyo-Yuzen Homongi made by Hiroshi Fujii, a Kyo-Yuzen artist favored by the Imperial Family. The material is genuine silk. The fabric uses the finest Mon-isho Rinzu. It is an exquisite Homongi featuring a hand-painted Kyo-Yuzen design with a cloud-shaped pattern of seasonal flowers, based on an elegant light pink color. Gold thread embroidery is applied to the pattern on the front. [Hiroshi Fujii] Born in 1935 as the eldest son of drawing artist Toin Fujii. Graduated from the Faculty of Economics, Doshisha University in 1959. Later, he studied under his father, Toin. Main works: 1. Involved in the production of the Akishino-no-miya Princess's Homongi (Mountain Pine and Wisteria pattern). 2. Involved in the production of the Nomiya-sama's Furisode (Cloud and Elegant Color Overlap). 3. Involved in the production of the Crown Princess's Furisode (Dynasty Elegant Fan).
