I haven't used these in about 25 years, and I only used them for guests. I haven't used them much, but I acquired them over 30 years ago. On one plate, I've marked a noticeable spot with red. Some of the gold trim on the plates is peeling. I washed the lids, but the stains wouldn't come off. I apologize to anyone who is overly concerned about these details.
