Hand-sewn women's lined kimono (awase) This is the last one in our popular washable kimono series. I'm hoping to get rid of it quickly as I'm preparing to move. I have other kimonos for sale, so I welcome combined shipping and will offer a discount. Please feel free to ask any questions. This is a lined kimono I sewed during my vocational school days. It was made by a student, so it's amateur work, but the construction is solid because I couldn't get credit without passing the teacher's inspection. It's new, with the basting threads still attached. However, it has been stored for many years since it was made, so there may be some age-related deterioration or fold wrinkles. I have checked it and listed it, but everyone's perception is different, so please only purchase if you are satisfied. The collar has snap buttons, but some of them have rust, possibly because they haven't been used for a long time and have been exposed to air. If you are concerned, I recommend removing them and replacing them with thread, or replacing them with snap buttons sold at craft stores. Basically, I am not offering discounts. I've never washed a lined kimono myself, so I don't know if it can really be washed as is... When shipping, it will be folded further from the state in the photos. I will do my best to minimize fold wrinkles, but please understand that there may be some wrinkles. It will be placed in a sealed bag for waterproofing and shipped in a reused cardboard box or paper bag. I am not a business, so please understand that I have limited resources for packaging materials. I can only do large item packing on weekends, so please allow for a longer shipping period. I have had experience with damage accidents. I will take all possible measures to prevent damage, but after shipping, I can only leave it to the shipping company.
