This cup is carved from a Japanese mountain cherry tree. The exterior is finished with lacquer (fuki-urushi), and the interior with glass coating. Because of the highly water-resistant coating, it doesn't require the same care as oil-finished tableware. It can be used for a variety of purposes, such as hot drinks, cold drinks, ice cream, yogurt, etc... ※ Although we have checked the product with boiling water after completion, please avoid pouring boiling hot liquids directly into the cup to prevent damage to the wood due to sudden changes in surface temperature.
