This is a long bag for a Tsugaru-jamisen (shamisen). It has been used a few times, so it is offered at a reduced price. It was made from unsewn, high-quality silk (正絹) fabric intended for a formal "tsukesage" kimono. The entire surface features scattered dyeing, and very delicate, hand-painted children are modestly depicted. The base color is pinkish beige. The hem is dyed with a slightly darker gradation. The lining is white polyester fabric with a textured pattern, typically used for juban (undershirts). It is in a clean condition with no stains.
