I purchased them several years ago and played with them about a dozen times, after which they were stored away. I checked the running and lighting for this listing. In my subjective opinion, I found no particular problems with the running, headlights, dining car table lamps, and tail lights of the passenger cars. *I am not familiar with model trains, so I may not be aware of any missing or damaged parts.
