This is a truly unique obi.
It's difficult to convey in the images, but please check the additional images I have listed separately, along with the information here, before purchasing (⁎ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈⁎)
The material is unknown, but it appears to be an organza-like polyester or nylon.
The color changes depending on the viewing angle and light. It can appear gray or white, or a purplish aurora.
Gold thread runs through the aurora-like fabric.
The reverse side is a silver mesh fabric. It may be a material that is prone to snagging or damage.
It has the feel of a stiff heko obi (soft sash).
I expect it won't lose its shape when tied.
It's quite lightweight.
The length of the part with lace is about 91cm.
The length of the part to wrap around the body without lace is about 228cm.
(Total length is about 410cm)
The width including the lace is about 44cm.
The width without the lace is about 37cm.
There are wrinkles and some damage from thread pulls, so I'm offering it at a reduced price.
I'm not sure how wrinkled it will become if folded, so I will ship it compactly rolled into a tube via Mercari delivery.
