The home button (power button) was repaired at a local repair shop, but the repair was unsuccessful, and some liquid appears to have entered the LCD. Also, although the home button was repaired, it is now sunken and unresponsive. I bought a replacement because I thought it wouldn't turn on, but it now powers on. I was able to reset it normally.
