Thank you for viewing. This is a collection of various suzuri (inkstones). These were some of the favorite items of my mother-in-law, who practiced calligraphy for a long time. She received many major awards and wrote professionally. The materials for her calligraphy, which she had been doing for many years, were all very expensive, and they are in very good condition. In her later years, she also painted sumi-e (ink wash paintings), illustrated postcards, and shikishi-e (colored paper paintings) that combined characters and pictures. These inkstones are well-worn, but they have been used and loved for a long time. I hope you understand, and I would like to sell them to someone who will continue to use them.
