This is a vintage KENZO leather belt from the early days of Kenzo Takada, purchased about 20 years ago from a vintage shop in the East Village of Manhattan, New York. It dates back to the 1970s. It features a very rare 3-piece construction where the belt is passed through decorative parts in the center from both sides. The design embodies the "folklore" and "mode" aesthetics characteristic of KENZO at the time, with a combination of two types of leather, luxurious braiding, and a buckle covered in matching leather – a masterpiece filled with craftsmanship that cannot be replicated today. This belt has a unique shape that curves gently. Rather than being fastened at the narrowest part of the waist, it's designed to be worn "hooked" along the hip line. As a result, it fits the waistline more beautifully than a typical straight belt, and simply draping it over a coat or tunic recreates the silhouette of Parisian fashion from that era. • Made in France • Material: CUIR VERITABLE (Genuine Leather) • Color: Black and brown on the front, noble burgundy lining • Condition: I am a man, and I have only worn it once after purchasing it (worn slightly to the side, like a gun belt).
