The base color is not pure white, but off-white, close to ivory, with a gray gradation and small black, white, and sumi-colored cherry blossoms painted like sumi-e (ink wash painting). The mountain cherry blossoms spread across the mountains, rivaling the scenery of Yoshino. It is very elegant and can be worn to any occasion. It is not flashy, but it is a masterpiece that catches the eye. The lining (hakke) is the same solid color as the outer fabric.
