This is an aftermarket product imported from overseas. Originally a replica of the Fender Pure Vintage '64 model, it uses Alnico 3 magnets. It follows vintage specifications, such as German copper wire for the coils, beveled pole pieces, and vintage-style cloth wire. The wax potting is also done carefully and thoroughly. The soldering on the base plate is a bit blobby (which will likely improve with future production), but I think it shows considerable craftsmanship. How about using it as a substitute for the Fender Pure Vintage '64 model?
