Aizu cotton is embroidered with Hungarian Kalocsa embroidery. The back uses high-quality, sturdy fabric with an old, traditional South Provençal small pattern from France. The vivid red color is lovely. This Aizu cotton was found during a trip to Aizuwakamatsu City, Fukushima Prefecture. It has a textured feel and a distinct appearance. Aizu cotton has the characteristic of being cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Please refrain from washing, as the embroidery thread may fade. It can be enjoyed as a coaster, and displaying seasonal flowers will also change the atmosphere.
