Made of aluminum, it's lightweight and durable. I've used it about three times on a mountain bike. It seems to have gotten scratched during installation. It's the type that attaches to the seat post and has a quick release, so it can be easily installed without tools. I used it to secure a compact chair and a tarp. I think it's good for cycling. I'm selling it due to downsizing because of my age. The load capacity is about 9 kg. Please check the size in the photos.
