There are some frayed areas. The fibers are fuzzy. Due to the shape, dust and debris easily get caught in the weave. I will clean it as much as possible, but it won't be perfectly clean. I purchased it in 2022, so I've used it for about three and a half years. I had it in a one-room apartment in front of my bed, and I also had a thin rug on top of it.
