These are maternity medical compression stockings. They are helpful for reducing pain and preventing the worsening of varicose veins during pregnancy. I purchased these at the maternity clinic for around 6000 yen because my varicose veins extended near my thighs, and I was advised to use compression up to the groin area. Since I gave birth shortly after purchasing them at the clinic, and I was also using another pair I had bought separately, these stockings are in good condition. They have been home-laundered, but as they are used items, please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for a perfect condition. I hope these can be of use to someone.
