This is a Negoro-nuri (Kishu-nuri) tray from Wakayama Prefecture. It is said to be from Koyasan. (See photo 6) Size: Diameter: Approximately 29cm Height: Approximately 2cm For a sense of scale, I've placed chopsticks and a teacup on it (photo 3 - chopsticks and teacup are not included). My mother loved collecting these, but she has too many and can't use them all, so she's decided to declutter. New and unused. No chips or scratches. Beautiful condition. Comes with original box and instructions. Although new and unused, it has been stored at home, so please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned.
