The heel has a gentle slope, and the wedge sole makes them easy to walk in. I wore them with protective stickers on the toes. To prevent wear on the soles, I had non-slip grips added to the toe area by a shoe repair shop. I have kept them in the shoe box with insect repellent, which I replace every year. The box is in its original condition, and there are no stains on the surface. The soles are also relatively clean, and I think they are in good condition. Please refrain from purchasing if you are overly concerned about minor details.
