It has been stored in a closet for a long time after being made. There is a scratch (photo 8) on the top of the head. The color between the nostrils seems to have changed. Is this due to aging? (photo 6) A string will be included. The mask will be wrapped in brocade fabric and sent. I am also exhibiting other Noh masks. ◾️The Noh play "Hashihime" is based on the legend of the Bridge Princess, who threw herself into the Uji River out of jealousy and became a demon. The expression of the Noh mask "Hashihime" represents a woman whose face is contorted by jealousy, who was betrayed by her husband and, in order to curse and kill her rival, immersed herself in the Uji River for twenty-one days and transformed into a demon.
