This is an antique (100 years old) from around the 1910s-1920s. The main body is made of aluminum, and the handle and fasteners are made of iron. When you remove the lid, it nests, and it is a 3-piece set. The metal fittings on both sides of the lid firmly hold the main body. The clicking sound of the lid when attaching and detaching is irresistible for cooker enthusiasts. Similar structures like the LE GRAND TETRAS lunchbox and hollowware with marble patterns are often seen, but this is a rare item that is not often seen in Japan or overseas. The lid is engraved with an emblem and says "PARIS". During World War I, from 1914 to 1918, French soldiers personally prepared and equipped civilian supplies, including this aluminum container, in addition to their official military equipment. Some Japanese campers seem to put coffee beans in the upper container and raw rice in the lower container.
