I found this hanging scroll depicting a calico cat while cleaning out my parents' house. Cats have long been considered bringers of good fortune, and the fact that this one is depicted with New Year's decorations makes it an auspicious item. When the scroll is closed, there's a handwritten inscription at the bottom that appears to read "Fudo Yoko (?)". The size (self-measured) is approximately 198cm x 42cm. It's quite old, and there is age-related deterioration overall, including stains, yellowing, and peeling. The upper part of the back, in particular, shows noticeable staining, so please check the images before considering a purchase.
