This is a traditional Japanese folk toy. You'll be drawn to the dynamic energy and cute expression of the lion dance, but you can also see the careful craftsmanship in the details, such as the lion's mane and the spinning top on its head. As it is an old item, there is some dust. The folding screen is from the original set. The four corners are made of brass, and although small, it is a genuine piece. There is a slight scuff on the paper on the back of the screen (photo 3 from the end).
