This one features white and green flower murrine. Made in Italy, Venice, Murano Island. A work by Dorian, a Venetian glass artist and maestro of the small family-run workshop Pagan. As they are handmade, the same design is only made once, making it a one-of-a-kind piece. It can be enjoyed as a decorative plate for interior design, or used to serve cookies, Japanese sweets, fruits, etc. to guests, or even used as an accessory tray or for enjoying incense. Size: 8cm x 8cm Height: 1.5cm This small plate is "millefiori," created using the Venetian glass technique of making many floral glass parts (murrine) and combining them as the maestro envisions. It is formed through two firings and carefully polished one by one over a long period of time, making it a work of art. This workshop is committed to finishing their works with meticulous care. They spend 2-3 hours polishing a single plate, and the beautiful velvet finish has a gentle, pleasant feel and a sense of luxury. We highly recommend you hold it in your hands and feel the texture. Dorian's works use thin murrine (about 1/2 to 1/4 the size of Moretti's), which requires 2 to 4 times more effort and time to produce. However, this allows for detailed and delicate expressions, resulting in a light and very pleasant-looking plate. It has been stored and displayed in a glass case. It is in like-new condition as a plate, with no noticeable stains, scratches, cracks, chips, or breaks. There is no box, so it will be carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped in a cardboard box. As it is glass, the appearance may vary depending on the background color and material.
