I am remaking tsumugi fabrics such as genuine silk Oshima Tsumugi. I also disassemble Oshima Tsumugi with the original stitching still attached, so relatively clean lining fabrics are available as scraps. The fabrics are as they were when the kimono was disassembled, and basically have remaining threads, holes from being unpicked, and creases. They have not been washed or ironed. Since they are removed from the outer fabric, the lining fabrics are still connected to each other. Also, severely stained items are all discarded, but some items may have minor stains.
