PANETTA PANETTA is a costume jewelry company founded in New York in 1945 by Beneditto Panetta, an Italian immigrant. Beneditto, the founder, immigrated from Italy in 1901. He specialized in platinum jewelry, honed in Naples, and after working at TRIFARI, he became independent and established his own company. After his death in the 1960s, the company was taken over by his two sons, Amadeo and Armand. PANETTA's standards were always strict, and only pieces finished to resemble real gemstones were selected and released to the public. The company existed until around the late 1980s.
