This is an oilcloth cover for a koto (Japanese harp). It's a remade item from a disassembled tsumugi kimono. I believe there are no noticeable stains or snags. The outer fabric has a smooth feel. The lining is new cotton fabric, with a smooth, bleached-like texture. It's thinner than commercially available ones. It's handmade by my mother, who worked as a dressmaker. Thank you very much!
