The "Beckman Boots," named after Charles Beckman, who founded the Red Wing company in 1905, were born in 2006 by mixing the materials and tastes of today with the boots of the Red Wing company in the early 20th century, the company's founding period. They quickly became a very popular product, but production was discontinued due to the impact of COVID-19 and other factors on the production system, and many people hoped for their revival. And, this time, the newly reborn Beckman makes its long-awaited reappearance in the 2024FW season. Charles Beckman moved to Red Wing, Minnesota at the young age of 17 in 1857 and started a lifelong journey in the shoe industry. He found work at a local leather tannery, and later opened his first shoe store in 1883. Through his relentless pursuit of shoes, Beckman began to solve problems with his own hands, and in order to provide comfortable, high-quality shoes with the customer always in mind, he established the Red Wing Shoe Company in 1905. The Beckman, which has reappeared this season, has undergone design improvements that greatly reflect the opinions of the development team that originally created the Beckman. The same upper is layered on a more anatomically considered last, and a thin layer of Poron foam has been added under the leather heel pad for a more comfortable fit. The leather insole remains unchanged, and the outsole is the same Grocord as the flat box. The speed hooks added to the upper make it easier to take on and off.
