It worked perfectly until I removed it, and it has been initialized and updated to the latest version. I originally used a Sony nasne (old nasne), but both the main unit and the external HDD were quite old. I used this new Buffalo nasne and a large-capacity external HDD to transfer the programs recorded on the old nasne before either of them broke down. Setting it up was as simple as connecting it to my home router, and transferring recordings was easy. I was also able to copy the contents of the external HDD properly. The Sony, old nasne's external HDD only supports up to 2TB, but the Buffalo nasne supports up to 6TB, and the processing power seems to have improved, so I thought the response was good.
