This is a Shimano Kyokushou Limited-PRO 1.5-5.3m, a top-of-the-line磯竿 (sea rod) purchased new in 2010. Since it is unused, the rod is in beautiful condition, just as it was when purchased. However, the grip's soft rubber section on the base of the rod has become sticky due to aging, so it has been wiped down with anhydrous ethanol.
