This is mainly on the outer layer, but since it is held together with thread, I cannot confirm the condition of the inside. Upon visual inspection, the inside does not appear to be faded, and there are no noticeable age spots. I believe it is in beautiful condition. There are no other major stains or blemishes. My daughter was collecting these for her dance performances. I have accumulated several similar items, so I'm offering this to someone who might like it.
