Bronze Three Monkeys "See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil" The material appears to be bronze, but I'm not certain. It has a substantial weight. There are some areas with a greenish hue. The bottom is somewhat dirty. It was received as a commemorative item for a temple's Jinzan ceremony, so the date and the names of the old and new chief priests are inscribed on the back. (The Jinzan ceremony is a ritual for a newly appointed Buddhist priest to become the chief priest of a temple.) The engraving is partially covered with a mosaic in the images, but a part of the engraving is shown on the left side of the 10th image.
