In addition to the instrument itself, the following items are included: ・Mouthpiece (BESSON 7) ・Hard case (for transport) BESSON is famous for its euphoniums, but they also manufactured trombones. However, the distribution volume in Japan wasn't very high, and they seem to have stopped production about 20 years ago, so it's a bit rare. In terms of grade, I think it's a beginner to intermediate model. The sound is resonant and symphonic, and you can feel the characteristics of European instruments, like those from Germany. It plays well, but the blowing feel is a bit unique, requiring you to put in a good amount of air. It's not as easy to play as a Yamaha, so it doesn't feel very beginner-friendly. The bore measures 12.5mm and the bell is 203mm. Also, this instrument is quite high-pitched. In the UK, they used to tune to high pitch (A=455 or 465), so it might be based on that standard. The main tuning slide extension is about 57mm, and when I played it, I found that I could get A=442 with about 37mm of extension, so I think there's no problem using it. For the listing, I have cleaned the inside of the tubes with a cleaner and neutral detergent. The slide felts, water key cork, and bumper rubber have been replaced because they were worn out. After cleaning, I have greased it and confirmed that it produces sound, so you can use it immediately. After the confirmation, I wiped the slide to protect the inner tube. (If you would like slide oil applied, please contact me after purchase) There are dents, scratches, and lacquer wear, and it shows signs of use, but I think it's at a level that doesn't affect playing. The slide isn't like new, but the movement is quite smooth. (It slides to the 7th position without catching, under its own weight.) How about it for those who want to play a slightly different or rare instrument? You can enjoy a sound different from Yamaha or American trombones. I believe this is a product that has no problem with playing, but it is a used item, so please judge from the photos and consider it. Please note that it is also for sale elsewhere.
