This is a small bowl I purchased at an antique market. It's a copy of a blue and white porcelain piece from Jingdezhen during the Ming Dynasty in China. I was told it dates from the late Edo period. Originally, it's a copy of an item made in Jingdezhen for the Japanese market. Perhaps that's why the design appeals to me. How about putting in a small delicacy and enjoying a cold sake? You can also enjoy the blue and white design while you drink. There is a chip on the rim and a hairline crack. Otherwise, it seems to have kiln marks.
