Hello, good evening. Thank you for viewing! This is the RM-D19 remote control for MITSUBISHI DVD/VHS recorders. Unfortunately, I likely no longer have a machine that can receive the signal, so I cannot confirm whether any signal is being emitted, let alone whether all the buttons work. Also, as it is an old item, I will not be checking it using a smartphone. Regarding cleaning, I have only wiped it down briefly with a wet wipe. I have not gone to the trouble of cleaning in the button crevices, etc. Please research the compatible models yourself. This is a junk item, and I will not accept returns or refunds for any reason, including incompatibility. Please purchase only if you can accept that it is a junk item and are okay with anything that may happen. As you can see in the photos, there is discoloration. The battery compartment was clean. I plan to wrap it once in bubble wrap and send it in a vinyl bag with a Yu-Packet Post sticker attached. Thank you for reading this far!
