It was produced during a time of high production volume and was sold as an entry-level German-made violin. In terms of performance, it's comparable to a Suzuki Violin's 280 or 300 series. It also features the characteristic locking pegs, which are still in good working order (a flathead screwdriver is required). While consumables like strings and bow hair haven't been replaced, it has been re-setup and is in a playable condition. Overall, it's a slightly better beginner model, suitable for those considering starting to learn. ● Body: There are minor scratches, dirt, and some dents on the back plate due to use, but it's a violin in good condition for its age. ● Body Maintenance: Peg adjustment, cleaning, gloss restoration, and other general adjustments have been performed. ● Bow: A Glasser bow. It's a favored bow of the time. ● Case: A hard case. There are some minor stains and fraying from use, but the condition is good. (One strap is included.) ■ It was made using a method of carving from thick plates, and produced with traditional German advanced manufacturing methods.
