I would like to share what I was told at the time of purchase. Size: Approximately 47cm Antique bisque doll, a mystery doll. Probably from Germany. Head mark: just the number 9 The bisque has no hairline cracks or chips. The head's cut is similar to a French doll, and there are pierced ears, but no earrings were attached. The large set-in brown glass eyes are paperweight eyes with protruding pupils. There is a 1mm chip at the outer corner of the right eye. The tip of the nose is white. There is a dimple on the chin. The feather brows are the type with a narrow space between the eyebrows. Open mouth with 7 teeth visible. There is a red stamp on the waist of the body. The body is mostly in its original, un-repainted condition. There is evidence of repair on the ball joint of the left leg. The left calf has been repainted to cover paint peeling.
